Rochelle Judkins
Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost), Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSci; Human Biology)
Director | Osteopath | ACC Registered Treatment Provider
Facilitator | Community Health and Wellness Educator
Rochelle chose to pursue Osteopathic Medicine as a healthcare modality due to the holistic nature with which Osteopathy approaches health. With Osteopathy often being described as “an art, a science, and a philosophy”, Rochelle uses her hands and her knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to ease pain and restriction, and to facilitate the body’s innate ability to heal and recover in the absence of barriers.
Rochelle sees a wide range of health difficulties in her practice, including headaches, lower back pain, pelvic dysfunction, neck pain, sensitized nervous system, trauma, pregnancy-related pain, and supporting newborns in adjusting to life outside the womb. She also enjoys the challenge of exploring possible causes for unexplained symptoms that have been medically cleared but not yet answered. She has also previously dedicated several years to the advancement of the Osteopathic profession through service to the professional association (Osteopaths New Zealand), including some time spent as the association’s President.
As a māmā, Rochelle is also very passionate about perinatal mental health, and supporting parents and whānau during their perinatal journey. She is also very committed to empowering others through knowledge, and as a Community Health and Wellness Educator Rochelle is passionate about supporting people of all ages and backgrounds to lead a healthy and empowered life.
As an Osteopath, Rochelle trained at New Zealand’s Unitec Institute of Technology, and her Master’s Thesis explored the patient experience of osteopathy in the cranial field. Rochelle is registered with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand, and is a professional member of Osteopaths New Zealand.

Karis Reader
Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost), Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSci; Human Biology)
Associate | ACC Registered Treatment Provider
Karis is passionate about clinical problem solving and thoroughly enjoys new challenges. He has a particular interest in supporting athletes on and off the field, as well as helping people to condition and strengthen their bodies.
“My job is to get you out of my clinic as quickly as possible” - meaning that my aim is to help you get better as soon as possible, either through Osteopathic treatment or through a referral to another health professional.
Karis is trained in structural osteopathy, and likes to tailor treatments to fit patients' needs on the day. He has clinical experience managing common injuries like muscle strains, joint sprains, various neck or spinal complaints, as well as chronic conditions like fibromyalgia, chronic pain, tendinopathies and shoulder injuries. Additionally, he has experience with strapping for sports teams from working with rugby teams as a field-side medic.
Karis believes that one of the greatest strengths of Osteopathy is having different approaches to manage any given clinical case. In order to help keep patients moving well, Karis enjoys educating patients about the injury or problem they have, how they can help prevent it from coming back, and what they can do for themselves if it does happen again.
Karis is a New Zealand trained Osteopath through Unitec Institute of Technology, is an ACC Registered Treatment Provider, and is registered with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand.
