In New Zealand we are fortunate to have a diverse range of skilled healthcare practitioners supporting our communities. However, our country is also facing significant healthcare challenges, and our health workforce would benefit from greater cohesion across modalities to better support our patients and clients.

With this in mind, we invite all Northland-based healthcare providers to join us for an inaugural Northland Health Hui. The purposes of this Hui are two-fold:

1. To bring practitioners together in one space to build professional connections, develop and strengthen referral pathways across health modalities, and explore healthcare options with other providers.

2. To identify the specific healthcare challenges that are being experienced across our Northland communities, and work together to explore solutions with the aim to improve and future-proof access to healthcare for our patients and clients, both Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti.

If you are a healthcare practitioner, or provide a health-related service in your community and would like to be part of this Hui, please send an expression of interest to Rochelle Judkins at healthhui@empoweredyou.co.nz. Details for the Hui are currently being finalised, and your expression of interest ensures you will be included in communications when a date and venue are confirmed.
